Accountabilities:
As an Understanding Graph and Semantic Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and providing semantic and graph-based solutions across our manufacturing, supply chain, and advancement functions. You will craft robust and scalable ontology-driven understanding designs, build and query knowledge charts, integrate structured and disorganized information, and apply semantic standards to enhance information interoperability. Collaborating closely with product teams and data engineers, you will bring semantic capabilities into real-world business applications. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of semantic data innovations in the pharmaceutical industry-enabling FAIR data, accelerating AI utilize cases, and driving smarter digital operations.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Neo4j, Cypher, and residential or commercial property chart modeling.
- Proficiency with RDF, OWL, SHACL, SPARQL, and other semantic web technologies.
- Strong Python skills with experience in data pipelines, REST APIs, and automation.
- Ability to translate company ideas into structured, ontology-driven knowledge models.
- End-to-end experience delivering chart or semantic data jobs in production environments.
- Experience operating in Agile teams and engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer technology, information technology Systems, Data Engineering, or associated field (Master's chosen).
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with tools like Protégé, VocBench, or TopBraid for ontology development.
- Exposure to graph-based AI/ML usage cases such as embeddings, reasoning, or LLM integration.
- Understanding of data governance, metadata, and FAIR concepts.
- Experience with industrial or manufacturing information from systems such as ERP, MES, IoT platforms, or Cognite Data Fusion.
- Awareness of use case specific GenAI tools offered in the market and their application in day-to-day work scenarios.
- Possess working understanding of basic triggering techniques and constantly improve these abilities.
- Stay current with developments in AI and GenAI, applying brand-new insights to work-related situations.
